Actually it was sent by an individual but was Board approved. Maybe certain
people should get off their A***ES . and "encoiurage instead of discourage" the
idea. Julie Degen is a performance person and I believe she's supporting the
donation program.

I saw it as a suggestion from one person. I felt it was a bad idea, but
since it didn't come from our board, just chalked it up to another idea. A
better one is for every member to send $100.00 to me. It would help support
my law office and I could throw a Christmas party this year. You could all
come.
We have a board of directors to manage our club. They will manage the
finances, and each regional club does the same. If anyone should be supporting
the other, the parent club should help the regional clubs. We put on the
shows, promote our breed, work when it is needed for the parent club, and are
the backbone of our breed. While I can appreciate as much as anyone a
request for money, the latest approach is to work for food.
Work for money too. That goes for everyone, every club, our parent club,
and even ourselves. If a program cannot support itself, then maybe it is
time to eliminate it!
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
