I have heard nothing but support for the Junior's program from the board
members. I know Frank was the second person to want to get involved with
this, and he and I agreed the third person would be Nancy. I have not
presented it to the GSDCA board yet, but when I do, I expect they will get
behind
it.

Evan, this is a great idea and I applaud your going ahead with it and making
it happen.
Of course the board will be supportive - this is for the good of the breed
and our sport.
But.......
(Terrible word isn't it?)
You have one other idea that also needs to be done and probably the best way
is to just do it!
You have talked for years about having a written record of the significant
breeders of our time to pass on to coming generations. I love the idea and
want to encourage you to also do what ever needs to be done to make your
idea come together.
This is also one that, if submitted to a committee of 2,000 people will fall
apart in the process. One of the wonderful aspects of our National
government is that it has so many people involved that most ideas never see
the light of day - they fail by the sheer weight of the discussions. This
saves us a lot of money!
So congratulations on your entrepreneurial spirit and I would encourage you
to keep at it!
