I really was not going to send this to the list but Evan suggested that I do
At the last National in Perry I had entered my CH bitch......Bob Penney was
the evaluater and Paul Root was the weird stranger......off we went ...my
dog was
doing just great, but I was not....I was on crutches and got about 2/3 of
the test done when I knew I could not take another step....Both Bob & Evan
gave me
heck for even trying, but Evan took the leash from me......my girl had never
seen Evan before ...nor had he seen her....I was sure she would fail the
test ...the only
things left were the umbrella and the weird stranger......the umbrella was
fine, but why would she protect Evan .....but protect Evan from the weird
stranger was just
what she did..........she passed with a very high score and I thank Evan for
finishing the test for me........What this proves is that a German Shepherd
with the
correct temperment is sound and is sound under all conditions
