She does earn respect, a lot of it. Ilove the breed, second only of course
to GSDs.
I research it quite a bit, and am fascinated by it's origin and migration
through the Russian steppes and across Europe. Guard dog for encampments,
herds, war dogs, prison dogs,
no upper limit on size or weight, only minimum size and weight and
mandatory temperament parameters. Golden retrievers these are not.
