So, Jackie, you want to be the "practice" subject for the next generation of
surgeons?
Everyone, I want to go on record as hating the use of animals for research and
medical purposes...but I am also a realist. I realize that there is a lot of
bad research being done to feed egos and get publsihed...but there is also a
lot of good work being done. How do you think your surgeon learned his/her
craft? They practice on animals. I sure wouldn't want my surgeon doing heart
surgery on me after only having experienced some computer modeling program.

I'm one of those people that doesn't believe in "purpose bred"
animals. I
wish they didn't do it either. Want to save humans, test on humans.
I know I'm in the minority on that one.
