I agree with this. Unless the owner of the stud dog had him checked and a vet
confirmed he is sterile or has issues, even missing 3 times doesn't tell me
anything. Stud dogs seem to get blamed for all the misses and any issues that
are produced. However, I believe, and so do many vets including Dr.
Hutchinson, that more than 95% of misses are either timing or issues with the
bitch - NOT the male. I an not saying the dog isn't without issue, but would
question the owner to see if they have indeed had the dog checked....and go
from there.

Personally I don't think a dog missing three times is a big deal. Could
ust be really bad luck and the timing was incorrect. And backing out of a
reeding doesn't seem too strange to me. Things come up. Just saying.
