[ SHOWGSD-L ] Rainbow Bridge

Good morning,
I sent private notes to people who knew Jerry. Several dear friends
have suggested that I post how my boy, Jerry, died.
Jerry is Am SelExCH/CanSelCH Divna's Jerry --with many titles on this
end, too.
Last Nov. 3 he came walking slowly up to the house. Slowly is not
his norm AT ALL. So, I rushed him to the Vet.
My Vet removed 7 pounds --yes, SEVEN POUNDS-- of blood from Jerry's
stomach and also removed his spleen,
which had ruptured. My Vet suggested I put Jerry down, but I knew it
was his time.
Wed., 2 days ago, I looked out my kitchen window about 6AM and saw
Jerry walking slowly up to the house. I quickly
went out to him. In my driveway, I knelt beside Jerry. He lay down,
put his head on my lap, and died.
Tues. night Jerry was totally normal --ate all his food, good stool,
etc. The only thing different is that he wanted a longer
nightly massage, which I --of course!-- gave him.
