I thought they were not supposed to get their rabies vaccine until AFTER 16
weeks???
Do Vets actually vary on this?
We have to have rabies in California from 4 months to 6 months.
We wait until they are 6 months ........

About two years ago we sold a puppy from our last ever Beagle litter. She
had had her first set of shots with us, we do not do Corona or Lepto. The
new owners had her for 3 weeks, completely healthy, took her in at 11-12 wks
for her second shots, the vet gave her everything including rabies. Within
a day or so the exact symptoms as below began to occur. After several days
and much $ they put the puppy down and their vet told them we sold them a
puppy with epilepsy.
