Thank you so much for the donation. I just got off the phone with Beth Blalock
who works for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Georgia. She has taken the emaciated,
mange ridden GSD to Town N Country boarding facility in Marietta for care and
boarding. She states that this is a dog who is no more than 18 months....found
wandering in Chatsworth, nearly dead from starvation, bloody and moth eaten
from mange. She stood up during the entire one and a half hour ride from the
"shelter" to the boarding facility as she was in too much pain to even lay
down. THESE are the dogs that need us most; the unadoptables who through no
fault of their own, have found themselves abandoned....left to die in
uninhabited houses....dropped off on the roadside....left chained in the
woods...or
relinquished to an already overcrowded facility with absolutely no hope save
Rescue.
Beth is currently trying to cover the cost for Arwen (my name for her;
remembering how beautiful Liv Tyler was in The Hobbit....she needs a beautiful
name as she has nothing else)
LHSH will be donating toward her boarding expenses and helping to find her a
corner to rest her weary body.

I sent mine, plus a few dollars. Its not much, and if we all did it, it
certainly adds up to a lot for some wonderful GSD that didn't ask to be in
the condition he/she is. Let them know that humans can give love, warmth and
relief. Giving them a chance to live the life they deserve........
We are all their Last Hope.
