No, Marcia, you're not the only one disturbed by this. The evaluator had NO
right to ask the breeding of the dog nor whether or not the dog would be
bred. And CERTAINLY, the evaluator had no right to offer a pass if the dog
would be spayed.

I have felt for sometime that individual evaluators have too much power to
effect their own interpretation of the temperament test.  And should you
want to ask, yes, I had one fail who should not have and one pass who should
not have. 

I think for too long the temperament test has been the sacred cow of the
GSDCA -- that is, immune to criticism. I support the test. I do and will
always honor Bob Penny. I wish I could have tested under him.

But, I also support openness to improvement of the test and the evaluators.
