The OFA will accept a not permanent ID dog's x-rayand the number will be
assigned a NOPI
suffix and will not be reported to the AKC
The OFA does not require permanent ID (tattoo or microchip) to give reports
The OFA submission form that vets use contains an area for the attending vet to
include PI, so
that is probably almost all require it!
