My bitch has failed the Canadian CGN (similar to the CGC) twice now because
she licked the judges faces. Yet she doesnt back down from the drunken
stranger at the GSD Temperament Test nor is it that easy to get into my
trailer at the Canadian GSD Nationals (unless youve braved the door at
least twice and then they will back off a wee right Tom?). I keep saying
that a GSD that knows when to lick and when to bark should have sailed
through the CGN but apparently the CGN judges dont think the same way that
I do. Funnily enough, the dog that actually did nip the same person on the
nose sailed through his CGN with ease but then again, he was a coat and
people do not react the same way to a coat as they do the stock haar dogs.
No-one ever came near the house when I had my Labs all that black hair and
extra large white teeth on a 120 pound Lab was a very good deterrent to
theft mind you, he didnt meet ANY Labrador breed standard that existed
even though he was a true blue Lab.

I would do the same but then how about those that say it was the cologne I
had on that day that caused their dog to fail the temperament test. :-))
Maybe a lab in that case would be better they may lick you to death. LOL
