You said it very well.
If I lived int he northeast I would also object to the locations. I would be 
thrilled it is coming to PA/NJ and that at least it got to Ohio, but other 
nationals seem to be able to get to New England with LARGE events.

i think what ruth was trying to say, (and she can correct me if i'm wrong),  is 
that when you virtually eliminate ANY one part, you reduce the quality of the  
whole.  imagine a national without any of the dogs from the northeast  quadrant 
of the country?  we would lose many good animals.  the same  goes for any 
geographic area.  right now, both coasts are being slapped in  the face and 
that 
WILL result in a diminished number and, therefore, quality of  exhibits at the 
national.
 
that's my opinion and i think it's what ruth meant.
