The inheritance in other breeds isn't known other than fox terriers (both
parents must be carriers) and miniature schnauzers where only one parent has to
be a carrier. In the rest of the breeds it appears to be polygenic, but is
believed that both parents must be carriers, although it isn't a straight
recessive type of inheritance. There are multiple genes involved and may also
have some environmental influence.

So do we know for sure if it takes two carriers to produce mega or just
one..... I hear both, it takes two or nope you only need one parent who
carries it.
