[ SHOWGSD-L ] Re: Litter Vaccination Schedule

6 & 8 weeks then either every 2 but not longer than 3 weeks between shots,
puppy 5 way, one after 16 weeks. I don't think too highly of Dr. Dodd's
schedule nor do my vets. There are too many rescues in the mid-Atlantic
bringing dogs up from the south to re-home because apparently we don't have
enough and we are seeing parvo and distemper. My crystal ball doesn't work
to tell me exactly when maternal immunity wears off and since I have know
breeders who have waited and have had puppies come down w/ parvo before 9
weeks...well, so much for Dr. Dodds.

Have you adopted the Jean Dodds revised/most updated vaccination schedule
or not, particularly FIRST vaccination at 9 weeks (not earlier)? You can

When are you letting your pet/non-show puppies go to homes? And does this
affect your timing the first vaccination?
