Born today to "Shadowacre's Khapri OFA" x "CH. Rockannand's Mt. Zion OFA HIC" 5
days early..
11 puppies!!
6 girls, 5 boys..and 3 of those boys as well as 2 of the girls are BLACK!
We took birthday pictures so will have them up on the website soon!!!
Poor Kay (my friend who bred and whelped our litter).. she fell off her horse 2
weeks ago, broke her hip and got out of the hospital last night. I got a
frantic call this morning at 1130 that she was in labor - the litter was 5 days
early, Kay is in a wheelchair and is a breeder of Scotties!! This is her first
GSD litter.. she was pretty frantic, but they all did well.. all the pups were
born in less than 6 hours.
All weighed more than 16 oz, are nursing well ..Kay is exhausted but happy..not
sure though she will be able to sleep in the whelping room as she had
planned..<g>
