I'll find out who manufactured the shot. I really doesnt have anything to do with the brand, vets have known for years that rabies can cause a reaction. Alot of people bring their pet to the vet for routine surgery and also ask to have them given their rabies shot. The vet I worked for would never give the rabies before surgery, because putting the pet under the vet would not see any reaction to the shot. So my vet always gave the pet its rabies shot after it was awake after the surgery. I give 10 mg. of pred before giving a young dog its first rabies shot, hopefully to prevent a reaction, this was something I learned from my vet cause I was always worried about reactions.
