Laura, I doubt that Karen can enlighten you on the breeding practices
and genetics and Standard of the White GERMAN SD as she is a part of
AWSA which aspires to breed separation and is not especially in tune
with the breeding practices and standard of the White GERMAN Shepherd
Dog. She may be up on genetics as they really are the same.
Maybe someone who is affiliated with the White GERMAN Shepherd Dog Club
International or WGSD club of America will mention what they want and
why. But I do know that they are NOT out there fighting the PC over
it.
I can tell you that the white is not a dilute gene.
