just my opinion I would remove the mass if her blood work and heart and condition is good. I would not spay- it is too much for a senior of her age. The 2 with mammary tumors I have had - one was removed at 8 and she has not had a re-occurrence - She will be 13 soon The other was 10 and it re-occurred within the year and I lost her at 11 Both were spayed bitches that lived in the house- I have 2 - 10 1/2 yr olds that live out side and are not spayed and have had no problems. with tumors. In fact they are both in heat right now - and I keep telling them it is disgusting to see the "old biddies" flagging the boys. I call them cougars LOL Sally www.embroiderybysally.org ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2009.
