With the one that I had, we did Nothing. It came up fast we did a
mastectomy and removed it and she never got another. The last one just a few
months
ago, it came up fast rather large, we removed it and did nothing but then
more came up quickly and she went down hill quickly. I would think it be
best to consult the vet on your particular animal.
