Try finding a copy of "The German Shepherd Book" by Hoflin Publishing in
Wheat Ridge, CO. This book is in encyclopedic format and has excellent
kennel histories. It was first published in 1986. If I remember correctly,
it originally ran around $75.00....you might be able to find a used copy
on Barnes and Noble or Amazon.
Also, "Your German Shepherd" by Reginald Cleveland.
Hawthorn Books: Pub. 1966. A small paperback of about 130 pages...
small but great photos and some history. The section on the "Shepherd
in motion" is a must read.
And, any of the books by Goldbecker.
