ABSOLUTELY!!!! I could not have been able to get there to help Jack in time
to save
him! Without all of them he and Cajun would have perished in that time. He
would
have been gone before I could even get to the airport!!!
What a testimony to the good heart of good GSD people.
Also....what a testimony to the heart of two good GSD's to survive that horror
and to
excel now in their lives and still love and trust people. What a Great
Breed!!

Some of you may remember the solid black male GSD that we and Linda Kury bred
hat was ound starving in Canada in the home of Kari Alblas early this
year...along with
sable male bred by Wendy Haddrall.
he dog is called JACK.....Mar Haven's Solitaire N' Blackjack. He and the
ther male were
rescued by Julie Hearty and Dianne Patenaude on the very verge of death.
Jack, a very
arge male, weighed ust 38 lbs at the time of rescue!!
hey thought both dogs might suffer some physical damage. Jack was nursed
ack to health by
irst Tracy Jones and then in the home of Andrew Heyblom and made a full
ecovery with the help of
any helping.
e now resides with and is much loved by Morris Bartucci We are happy to
say
hat Jack completed
is Canadian Championship last month. Jack only has eyes for Morris and has
ever forgotten Andrew.
Today he was shown for the first time in the U.S. and he picked up a major,
andled by Leslie Dancosse.

nd this happening to a very trusting and affectionate dog like Jack in
Eastern
anada. I was totally
ependent upon the help of others and most of them people I did not even
now.....and we are ever
rateful for how these Canadians stepped up to he plate to help these two dogs
or us. We cannot
hank them all enough!!!! The sable called Cajun is doing well also.
gotta say......the Canadian friends and people I have come to know through
his are truly amazing.
HIS is just an example of why we will stay in dogs......German Shepherd Dogs
nd their people are
he BEST! Most of the good people more than make up for the few that are
arcissistic, greedy and
elf serving...even to the point of mistreating an animal that only trusts and
oves them and depends
n them.
