Pat....all you and Carolyn have said is so true with most abused and
"saved" dogs; here at Weeping Willow we see that happen with every abused dog
we
have taken in; sure, some have issues but nothing that can't be dealt with
and they just absolutely "drip" with love and you see them just adore you
with those big GSD eyes !!

That's wonderful news Carolyn, tugs at your heartstrings when you hear
stories like yours. I've seen a couple of cases where a German Shepherd
was so
abused and went to a loving home they blossom with love and seem to say
they've left hell and gone to heaven and the love that oozes from them is
amazing considering what they had been through. Thanks for sharing.
