Mr. and Mrs. Herbel were the judges. We were not heeling, the first lap was
a brisk walk. Followed by
an even brisker walk then to a trot. I know the ones that I handled did not
have to be strung up nor
were there many that had to be, but there were some.

I know Norman Herbel does this walking business when he judges.....it
certainly doesn't allow a dog to move naturally as the handlers have to
string up the dogs just to get them to walk. An obedience trained dog or a
dead head would be the only type of dog I would show to him.

as possible, etc...?? He told these?people that if you want a real good look
at the dog have them walk around the ring preferably on a loose lead.? ?He
said?they (handlers)?can't hide anything when the dog is walking.

Possibly that is where this is coming from?????????
