Hi: I belong to another dog list (not GSD) and they have been
discussing dog food for the last few days. Someone wrote and said that
dry dog food is good for a dog because it helps clean the teeth. This
was followed by another saying that this is so not true. She said that
dry dog food does not clean the teeth. She said that the only food that
will keep a dog's teeth clean is a raw diet that includes bones. So for
the rest of us that feed dry dog food, are our canine friends doomed to
have dirty teeth? Barbara
