Let's try to be honest. What does any dog title mean?
It only means that you have selected a venue or contest, and won. It
doesn't say much about you as a person, (other than knowing where to enter),
and
it sure doesn't help mankind, cure cancer or eliminate fetal death
syndrom. It doesn't make your dog any better, or worse, depending on if you
win
or lose.
We all pick the venue in which we feel we can excell, and then go for it.
If you do something for years and never win, you probably should find
something else to do with your time. If you never bowl a strike, bid a grand
slam, or finish a dog, you might want to look at another hobby. But, it
doesn't mean much, just your choice of activities.
Dog shows are for fun. They have no particular meaning, and if you enjoy
showing in AKC, ARBA, IFFA, WDA, or some other letters, then go for it.
And, remember, the titles are how we keep score, they don't mean much.
It is how you live your life, your friends and family, and the memories you
build that matter.
