Are you guys talking about Ruffian?? Here is a story about the filly

My friend was there to see the race herself. It was a very sad day. She
worked for Woody Stevens when he was one of the top trainers in the US when
she was older.
If you get the chance to read the book about Ruffian do its good and of
course will make you blat.
