Last summer I ran into a couple who had some Bouviers at PetSmart. They were
bragging about showing their dogs (I didn't recognize them from the local
shows)
and I mentioned something about GSD's being in the same Group. They looked
at me in disbelief and wanted to know when GSD's were put in the Herding
group.
I told them they were one of the original breeds and they refused to believe
me.
Either they weren't ever around for group, or they weren't paying attention,
LOL!
Of course, the other possibility is that they never "showed" their dogs at an
actual dog show - we have a number of those type of breeders around here <G>.
