Well, I wasn't at the meeting...but I was amazed that people didn't know who
Andrew Hunte was...(is?)........
It seems to me that anyone who cares enough about the breed and the club
to want to be on the Board (which is tons of work and very demanding) should
care enough to immediately become extremely suspicious when an individual's
application is pushed at them as hard as Hunte's was.
Refusing to buy into the hype wouldn't have been such a hard thing, it
seems....there were a very few who had the guts to stand on their own two
feet and vote no. The others should be in a hall of shame instead of on
their own list.
They say all the trouble was because of this list...not so. They just
couldn't face the consequences of their behaviour at the time...
and I hope none of this starts all over again.......it was SO hard on
the club at the time.
