There is nothing wrong with the postal service in Canada. We get mail from
the US all the time with no problem. I can't believe that these morons that
are sending out the ballots didn't have enough sense to call their local
post office and ask "how mich does it cost to send a letter to Canada". Are
these idiots even capable of counting the ballots when the finally do get
them back?
Stop payment on their checque. That will get the dumb bastards attention.
That's what I did with Lew when my dog didn't go select this year.

While I agree that Canadian members should be able to vote, I think that
ALL
members should be able to vote. What about our members in other countries?
I
think that fed-exing (is that a word?) ballots to ALL foreign members would
be cost prohibited. Mailing all the ballots to one person to distribute
doesn't sound right either. The responsibility is the GSDCAs, not some
member in
another country.
Why cant we require the election company that we hire to have the Canadian
ballots mailed by a Canadian company? Same with Mexico. That should be part
of
their bid for the job.
Not sure about our members in other countries. Maybe their mail system is
better than Canada, or more likely, they don't really care who are judges or
officers are, they just want to get the review to see our dogs?
BUT, they should have the same option as all other member.
Canadians on the other hand, are like our cousins. They care about the
judges, etc because they are part of our GSD showing world, eh? I must say
that we
had a great time this year at the Canadian National. Such hospitality!
