I would not. i think that they are still too immature in their minds at that
age to be mothers. i have a nineteen month old bitch in standing heat right
now and am having a wonderful time ( yeah right ) trying to keep my boy Mick
away from her. last night he was standing on top of an airline crate that she
was in and trying to figure out how to get in. Today when I left for work they
were in two separate rooms at the opposite end of the house behind two closed
doors. I could hear Mick complaining as I drove out of the driveway. I am sure
that my neighbor was thrilled. I do not breed them before two and have had at
least two previous seasons. Also they are old enough to x-ray for OFA.
