[ SHOWGSD-L ] Board Rule question

No that was a big deal the year I was on the board. If your membership
lapses, you are not to be considered a continuous member.
The president at the board meeting claimed that Pearl and Dick Whalen hadn't
sent in the membership on time. Pearl showed her check book and was
considered timely; Dick had a note from his post office about delivery of his
mail.
He was rejected, (or his excuse was) and his membership was broken.
I thought the whole thing was mean spirited and said so. I believe if you
miss a year or even two or three, you should be allowed to pay the dues and
be continuous. That would be a nice thing to do, and maybe one of our current
board members could suggest it.
Not that there would be anything wrong with that.
