[ SHOWGSD-L ] Beating up on Breeders

I usually like this list pretty well, but am getting tired of the accusatory
tone of it by certain people.
Most breeders try to do their best with regards to temperament, health and
structure. Yes, there are some areas that need continued work and there are
some people who DON'T tow the line, but most breeders do.
What nobody says is that every dog incorporated into a breed/breeding program
brings good things and bad things to the table. It is up to the individuals
that want to bring this dog into their breeding program to determine how much
of a dog they want.
And as was pointed out in a Facebook discussion, a dog can have a bad thing,
but if he is so outstanding otherwise, he can be used judiciously in a breed or
breeding program.. Not all dogs merit being thrown out of the gene pool.
