Jim Of course we have improved the breed. It is more of what we want today than ever before. If it weren't we would all quit. If we showed what The Father Of Our Breed produced, we would be laughed out of the ring. We get to set the standard, and we have changed it over the year, and still we find some dogs that come close to the target, each show. I find the quality to be so much better, even if the stars of the past may have been better than the stars of today, in specific dogs. Tomorrow there may be another star, and that is what makes this sport great. But, there is more quality today in the ring than ever. I may never have another Destiny or Ben, but I know I will have great dogs again, if only in my dreams.
