The UKC ONLY changed the rule of breeding a WS with a UKC GSD, and requiring
any white pups ONLY be registered as GSDs, because the UWSC requested it be
done. This was NOT the UKC just doing it on a whim. UKC would have just left
all as is. So, I cannot see why the UKC would drop the whites (wGSDs) out of
the UKC GSD breed all together. There are "white" breeders who breed and show
as UKC GSDs, and support the UKC and UKC shows. There is NO UKC GSD Parent
Club, and as long as the two or three UKC GSD clubs cannot agree, there will
not be a UKC GSD Parent Club.

Since the UKC has the White Shepherd as a separate breed
already I do believe as they still want to join the FCI soon
it will change their rules too. They already changed the
breeding the White Shepherd to the GSD it will
probably happen with whiteGSD to the GSD
too. As the UKC is privately owned it does not
need to answer to anyone else and it is growing
fast. If it is accepted into FCI the Swiss White
Shepherd will be joining the UKC and not AKC if there
is not a separate breed for them. If all
the countries are changing for the White Shepherd
to become a separate breed I see the AKC by
holding out losing more money of not doing it.
DNA has nothing to due with it as there are already
other Shepherd Dogs there as a separate breed.
Germany years ago as well as other countries
removed the white from their breeding program
as I already mentioned do see this happening in the UKC too.
I just want the best for the GSD so look at the bigger picture as
of what will probably happen in the future.
