Well, we have certainly beat this subject to death!!! However, IMO, ANY dog that would bite a child is not ever going to be a safe bet as a family pet. Far better to put him to sleep humanely than to worry about what he might do next time he meets someone new. Training is fine, but sometimes the instinct is stronger, and the dog is not a good pet candidate, either for adults or kids.
