The Schutzhund Dog Training Club held their training on my 5 acres in
Brentwood Bay, B.C. in the 1980's. My U.S. Select American Champion,
Select Canadian Champion, Covy-Tucker Hills Don
Quixote, ROM, ROMC, OFA, TC was on the sleeve the first time he saw it,
BOTH ON AN OFF LEASH, HE WAS HIT ON THE BACK WITH A STICK WHILE ON THE
SLEEVE, AND HE "OUTTED"
IMMEDIATELY AT MY COMMAND, never having heard it before. The German
trainer refused to believe that this was an American Dog. He also followed
a tracking trail (hot dog) the first time we
tried it. He was fearless, and a Top top working SchH dog.........and
yes....I do have pictures. Helen Franklin. My other conformation dog,
Select Canadian Champion Von Saar's Prince of Wales,
obtained his SchH1 (Select under Ed Barritt)
