[ SHOWGSD-L ] AKC and white

In what group would AKC put these white shepherds ? Herding
dogs are not white. The only breed in the herding group that allows a
white dog is the pulik. The stock does not respect a white dog as
dominant, to be obeyed. In this country (read AKC) white "pastoral"
dogs are put in the working group, not the herding group. OK
delegate, what would AKC's take on this be ? Which group?
Seems to me this would be quite a conundrum for them. Probably, AKC,
like most of us, would rather things just remained as they are now.
OTOH, we could make a bunch of new breeds out of our DQs; the hound
eared shepherd; the pieballed nose shepherd; the tailless shepherd,
huh ?
