The Puli is NOT the *only* AKC Herding Group breed to have white coat color as allowable. 2. The idea that sheep or other stock do not respect a white working dog has been largely proven to be a myth. Stock are moved by the energy ("presence"), dominance and pure intent of the dog and NOT by its color. 3. Personally, I would like to see a new White Shepherd or BBS breed placed into the Herding Group, but the Working or even the Non-sporting Groups would be equally as acceptable. It doesn't bother me a bit exactly *where* they would be placed. Just that they are. -- Karen C.
