Hi All;
I am delighted as a Delegate that AKC sent the survey out to the fancy. They
have listened to what the Delegates had to say
after the Petland fiasco.
Yes, it will generate money and money is needed as AKC registrations have
declined sufficiently in the past 10 years after the
high volume breeders program was put into effect.
If we of the fancy, do not want to pay higher registration fees and entry fees
money must be raised somewhere. I believe that
this will help clubs financially with additional entries in performance and
also educate more dog owners on what the AR's are up to and to help us fight
these issues.
I started off in this great sport with an ILP GSD after owning a Troll
granddaughter for over 14 years. Thanks to Sheba I got hooked
on the confirmation ring, prehaps this will have the same effect on others.
