Well my daughter turned 8 yesterday and all she has ever taked about was showing dogs since she learned to speak............ She is at that age when she can show in juniors at matches now. Any wisdom you parents can pass off and tips would be helpful on how to groom a good little junior handler for the ring poised with good manners and a knack for walking out like a little lady win, lose or draw..... How do you teach a child good sportsmanship and to lose gracefully.................my biggest fear is watching her come out of the ring crying like i have seen so many other children do........or worse yet be rude. She is a strong minded child.........not at all passive in any way. I just want it to be fun for her,,,,,,,but knowing the already competitive nature of this little girl who has grown up wanting our dogs to win (she was there with me in utero while we had the 97 GVX hahahaha and that started it all) How do you make it JUST fun.......with no pressures ?
