ALCON The North Florida Ranger School will be conducting a Ground team Member Level 3 and Ranger Level 3 Training Blitz the weekend of Jun 15-17. Trainees will meet at Ft McGee at 1900 on 15 Jun and will train until 1500 on 17 Jun with appropriate breaks for rest and food. Subjects taught and evaluated will concentrate almost solely on the task qualifications found on the Ground Team Member Level 3 SQTR and the Hawk Mountain Ranger Level 3 task sheet, both found at the links below. There will be a mission number issued and motivated trainees (especially those with some tasks already signed off) should leave here as qualified ground team members. Our guest map and compass instructor will be a US Army Combat Medic, Sp4 David Wesolowski (CAP TFO and Ranger Level 2); this will be one of his last CAP activities before departing for active duty with the Special Forces School. This is an excellent opportunity to get certified in ground-team operations or to get your Ranger Level 3 prior to attending Hawk Mountain. An Operations order will be forthcoming. Students will need their 24 and 72hr packs, a CAPF31/FLWGF500 with appropriate signatures (parents and Unit CC), 2 CAPF60s, CAPID, and 101 cards. They will also need copies of the SQTR and Ranger forms linked below if they wish to receive credit for the training. _https://ntc.cap.af.mil/es/sqtrs/SQTR%20Ground%20Team%20Member-Level%203.pdf_ (https://ntc.cap.af.mil/es/sqtrs/SQTR%20Ground%20Team%20Member-Level%203.pdf) _http://www.pawg.cap.gov/hawk/forms/RangerThirdClassTestingSheetMar2007.pdf_ (http://www.pawg.cap.gov/hawk/forms/RangerThirdClassTestingSheetMar2007.pdf) We look forward to seeing you in June Gene Floyd, Capt CAP Commander Asst Ranger Training Officer FL Wing, CAP ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
