Mr. Chair,
Would it be possible to find out which of the current board members wish to
remain in their current positions? I have found that, if people know they
aren't trying to knock someone out of a position, they may be more willing
to run.

Yes, it is that time of yeah already. For your convenience I have attached
“Seeds Responsibilities for 2019” which lists the duties of each elected
position. I know some of you are reluctant to serve on the board. Trust me,
so was I. During my tenure as Membership Director and as this years
Chairperson, I discovered that serving also has a number of benefits.
First, I have gotten to know the members on a more personal level and have
developed stronger relationships with them. This is a great benefit as it
is, after all, why we are here. Second, I have challenged myself and grown
both professionally and personally. Third, and perhaps most importantly, I
have developed a closer relationship with Bill, Laura, and Nancy; the
people who can best help my business. Bottom line: at least consider being
on the board.
I have also included a copy of this weeks agenda. We have a lot to cover
this week so please arrive on time. Thank you for helping me out in this
way. I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday.
