Dear Seedlings,
This is just a reminder that we have our regularly scheduled meeting this
Wednesday (November 28, 2018) at 8:00 AM at the Chamber offices. I have
attached a copy of the Agenda for your convenience.
Please note that we will be electing a new Board of Directors for 2019 at
this meeting. I humbly request that all members attend to cast their vote.
This is YOUR group and I hope you will take part in determining the
direction we take in the new year.
I also wanted to remind everyone that our 2018 Annual Seeds Holiday Party
will be held on Tuesday December 4 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Sherman's
Taphouse (181 Main Street in Derby). Seeds member can attend free of charge.
There is a $10 charge for Significant Others. As always, we will hold a
"Yankee Swap" for those who wish to participate. I was asked to present the
rules for the Yankee Swap, so here goes.
1) Anyone wishing to participate should bring a WRAPPED gift valued up to
$15.
2) Participants have a choice to select a wrapped gift OR "steal" a gift
from a participant who has already selected. The person whose gift is
"stolen" the chooses another wrapped gift.
3) The participant who chose first then gets a chance to "exchange" their
gift with any other participant after all other selections have been made.
