All, I have asked Paul Dixon to look into the AZ-Observing truncation issue
to see if there is a fix or a workaround. If not, we may need to close the
group and set it up anew. (I hope it does not come to that.. Grrr)

Nope... it's private property.

Got your message, Peter. It sounds like the cabin site might be a good place
for future star parties, if there is room for a group. .

OK, I am done with the AZ Observing list. It truncates nearly every post...
no time for that nonsense. I'll post this here, as I think those who were
involved in that thread are also here.

Stan's original post was:
/Last night was not good up here in Dewey. I had not expected this, but
then I did not look at the forecasts.
I am curious how 5MM turned out? /

What I originally tried to reply was:
I can't speak for Fredericksen's Meadow (5MM), but both Friday and Saturday
nights were clear enough for some good observing from the site of Zane
Grey's cabin, east of Payson.

In response to Beevo -- yes, the cabin burned down in '91. No, there isn't a
housing development there. The original cabin site is undeveloped and is on
private property. I was set up just yards from the original cabin site.
The skies were clear enough for some decent observing both Friday and
Saturday nights. Saturday started off cloudy, but cleared after astro
twilight. What a nice location from which to observe.
