Jack; I think shuttles would be a great idea, not only cut down on dust, but = cut down on folks with no telescope trying to find a parking space while we = are trying to observe. He has been looking into getting = some facilities for the observing location and found that being City of = Phoenix, they would have to get "handicap access"-type facilities if they did. He = is also looking into using shuttles to transport observers from the front = of the Park where the present facilities already are, to the observing location = and back. He is currently in the process of doing this and looking at the cost and feasiblity of each. I said good on the first and questioned the second. = He said he was present at the last TBird Star Party and thought shuttles = would be a good alternative then and would cut down on risk, traffic, dust, and = light pollution at the site. How does this sound to you? You heard it here = first; I thought I would report these developments so no one is surprised.
