Zeiss-Opton lenses did use the red T mark. They dropped this when they went over to the Carl Zeiss brand. CZJ dropped the red T in 1955, a year after the Soviets quit using their version, the red P. JSK and Kodak both quit marking their coated lenses a year or so later. By the early 1950's, every lens made by a major manufacturer was coated.
