Marc, interesting list, however I'm afraid that Prochnow has repeated the same weight for some models with different weight, i.e. 2.8A and 2.8B and 3.5F and 2.8F. It's impossible identical weight for the 2.8A and 2.8B, the 2.8B was modified to receive the 2.8 five elements lens due to the lens weight, if you see the Rollei Report II, the part about the 2.8B,there is a photograph showing the new internal design with two big guides for the lens carrier, this design was used afterwards for other 2.8 models, and then the 2.8B was heavier than the 2.8A. Similar for the 3.5F and 2.8F, the 2.8 five elements Planar and Xenotar lenses are heavier than the Planar and Xenotar 3.5 five and six elements and being almost identical cameras the 3.5F third model and the 2.8F except for the lens, the 2.8F must be heavier than the 3.5F. I have compared the 2.8C and the 3.5F weight putting each camera on my right hand palm,I found a similar weight for both cameras, but I had the impression that the 3.5F was lighter than the 2.8C very slightly, when I receive from California the 3.5F I'll use a scale to weigh these cameras.- All the best Carlos --- Marc James Small <msmall@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> escribió: > Here is a brief list of the approximate weights of > the Rolleiflex TLR > camera bodies.
