It is celebrated in Canada as Remembrance Day and is taken very seriously. Everyone wears a red poppy.
Sam Anson, NJArmistice day was much more seriously celebrated when I was in grammar school a very long time ago. We made paper poppies although I don't think many of the kids knew the significance, probably very few people except for the very old do now.
