Yes it is suspicious, but it looks like others are seeing the same fault (flash
will trigger, but no TTL operation). Â My camera has been reliable with the
SC70 adapter, so it is unlikely to be the camera. Â I have 2 SCA300A cables,
one for each SCA 356, and tried swapping the cables between SCA 356s in case
the cable was at fault. Â In fact the second SCA 356 seems to have stopped
working after trying the cable swap. Â Add to this that Siu Fai reported that
he has one SCA 356 which only works for TTL with the SCA305A attached makes me
very suspicious of the cable to module connection. Â My first thoughts are to
map out the cable connections then open the module and confirm that the
internal circuits are connecting through the cable. Â I will know more once I
have a chance to do some tests. Â It will probably be next week before I get a
chance.

Exactly the same fault, the second unit after working all right to start
with, is a strange coincidence. Could there be a problem with the cable or
the camera? Bad contact?
